Full details will follow very soon of the subscription edition. Each track has a picture. Each picture has a face. Each face has one of you in it. We are also considering whether to make the book, CD and vinyl of this album available only by mail order and for download. These discussions continue.
*93 million thanks to all involved in the PRE festival in Roma* Giulio Di Mauro's PRE festival in Rome was one of the most wonderful events I have ever attended. Thanks from me to all who were involved in it. I was honoured to be invited on to sing a Roman traditional song, "Beatrice", with the Italian group Ardecore: www.myspace.com/ardecore. I have lost count of the number of fascinating and lovely people I met there. But thank you to GiamPaulo Felici, Sarah Dietrich, Lili Refrain, Romina Amidei, Astrid Requiem, Paola Lucantoni, Ernesto Tomasini, Lizzie Oswell, Fabrizio Palumbo, Enrico Croci, Chiara Raffaele, Alexander Booth, Ksenia Nefedova, Enza Grieco, Paul Beauchamp, Valeria Rusconi, Luca Valtorta, Othon Mataragas, MariaPaola Zedda, Giorgio Orbi, Mushy, Alessandro Adriani, Ester Coen, Silva Fiamingo Simo Della Valle, Carlo Cassaro. One absolute surprise for everyone at PRE was that Giorgio Orbi, following a dreamed hope of Giulio Di Mauro, had created something remarkable for the PRE event. Giulio had chosen David Tibet's lyric, "Where do dreams go to when they die?", as the phrase for the PRE Final Festival. Giulio had mentioned how apposigte it would be if Robert Englund, who played Freddie in "Nightmare on Elm Street", could record the lines, as both David's text and the "Nightmare…" films considered a similar realm. It turned out that the uncle of a friend of GIORGIO lived in the USA and was a friend of Englund. So we were all delighted when a short film appeared which eventually focused in, beautifully, to Englund who spoke David's lines and then, suddenly, brought up the Freddie glove and held it under his chin. Extraordinary.
*SIMO DELLA VALLA appointed official Current 93, Anok Pe & Coptic Cat photographer alongside the beloved GIULIO DI MAURO (who was already thus appointed)* I have been tremendously delighted and honoured to recently work with the exceptionally talented Italian photographer SIMO DELLA VALLE www.simovalley.com, whose recent photos of myself, Andrew Liles and C93 are perfect. She has taken all the photos of David and Liles which will be on the imminent 6LP vinyl box set of C93 albums remixed by Andrew Liles, to be released on Dirter: www.dirter.co.uk. I have asked Simo to become the official "C93/me/whatever mask I wear" photographer, along with GIULIO DI MAURO www.postromantic.com. SIMO DELLA VALLE and GIULIO DI MAURO are friends whom I trust perfectly and photographers who are truthful in their view and voice, and I recommend anyone who is looking to be true and naked in photos of themselves to contact SIMO or GIULIO via their websites.
*Giulio Di Mauro and the PRE website* Giulio has asked me to mention that www.postromantic.com, the website that has been used during the last months for the PRE FINAL FEST, will get back to being concerned with Giulio's usual activities (photography & the PRE book, a work still in progress) from early December 2009.
*‘Aleph on Docetic Mountain’ book/CD imminent* The next update will have details of the hardback publication by Coptic Cat of the full text of ALEPH ON DOCETIC MOUNTAIN. This beautiful hardback book, which will be limited to 333 copies, also comes with a 2 track CD featuring the 20 minute piece "ADAM AT DOCETIC MOUNTAIN", with voice by David Tibet, electronics by Andrew Liles and drums/percussion by Alex Neilson, which appeared on side 4 of the 2LP vinyl version of "Aleph at Hallucinatory Mountain". The second track on the CD is the original, previously unreleased, version of the same track. Publication date is the first week of December, and the book will be available for pre-order next week, when there will be an update concerning it and the forthcoming Bill Fay 2CD (see below).

*Bill Fay: ‘Still Some Light’ 2CD imminent on Coptic Cat* "STILL SOME LIGHT", the Bill Fay 2CD album, which we have been talking about for quite a while, is nearly ready and will be released before the end of 2009. This will be available soon from both the Durtro online shop and the JNANA RECORDS online shop. We will give full details of this album and pre-order options on the next update.
*Skitliv’s new album, ‘Skandinavisk Misantropi’, featuring David Tibet released 19 October* [image 1 175x158] I am over the (gibbous) moon to be singing a duet with one of my many heroes, Maniac (Sven-Erik Fuzz-Kristianson), formerly of Mayhem, on the 10-minute track "Towards the Shores of Loss" which appears on their new (and first) album, "Skandinavisk Misantropi". This is an album I think is enormously powerful, and I am so honoured that Maniac invited me. The album is released on the French label Season of Mist. *Rameses III* Spencer Grady of the group Rameses III recently sent me his group's new album, "I Could Not Love You More" (Type Records). I was most impressed and mesmerised by its beauty.
