Following a near-death experience undergone by David Tibet, like a drowning man he heard all the music that he had ever released as C93 being played simultaneously. After recovering, he and Steven Stapleton went into the studio and obsessively placed on tape everything C93 had recorded up to that point--from "LAShTAL" up to "Faust", including alternate mixes and compilation contributions, and then remixed it, to give an aural equivalent of what David heard.
